M172 Durable Tag

The M171 Durable Tag is designed with a sealed, water-resistant, crush-proof, temperature-stable enclosure for general-

purpose asset tracking. The durable enclosure provides protection in harsh environments where liquids and/or extreme

temperatures are potential hazards.

M172-i Durable Tag

The M172-i Infrared Durable Tag is identical to the M172 with the addition of on-board infrared (IR) and motion sensors.

When used with the A750 Room Locator, these tags provide room-level location accuracy.

M172 and M172-i Durable Tag Details

Durable M172 tag labels are sealed on the inside of the clear polycarbonate enclosure via sonic-welding. This protects

both the label and the electronics from moisture and fluids. M172/i Tags can withstand salt water splashes, cleaning

solutions, germicides, disinfectants, etc. Powered by a coin cell battery, the tags will perform reliably in extreme

temperature environments (from -20 to +70 degrees Celsius) and after exposure to high humidity and/or to extreme hot

and cold cycles.
